Xylos Duo is an extraordinary musical meeting among the two most prominent performers: Lithuanian violinist Ieva Pranskutė and Croatian cellist Mislav Brajkovich. This young, but already widely recognized duo, radiates special energy and sensitivity, evaluated by both listeners and a professional community. Šiuo metu Xylos Duo yra vienas iš ryškiausių styginių duetų Vienos muzikos scenoje.
Jų pasirodymai skambėjo prestižinėse salėse – Vienos Musikverein, Wiener Konzerthaus, Radio-Kulturhaus ir daugelyje kitų. Dueto repertuaras – tai muzikinė kelionė per skirtingus laikotarpius: nuo klasikinių šedevrų iki šiuolaikinės XXI a. muzikos, kiekvienas kūrinys interpretuojamas su giliu jausmu ir autentiška išraiška.
Jų bendrystė prasidėjo Vienos Muzikos ir vaizduojamųjų menų universitete. In the 10 -year creative path, the duo developed a unique musical voice based on a subtle sense of timble, character and emotional shades. Už įsimintiną Zoltán Kodály dueto op. 7 interpretaciją jie buvo apdovanoti prestižiniu „Kodály Award“ ISA Prague–Vienna–Budapest festivalyje.
Xylos Duo music is not only coming from concert halls - their performances broadcast through Orf, Ö1 (Austria) and Lithuanian national radio and television, and the Lithuanian Embassy in Croatia honored them for its significant contribution to the cultural dialogue between two countries.
In addition to the duo's activities, Eve and Mislav founded the Xylos trio, the ensemble, which won the laurels of the Fidel competition and successfully perform at festivals in Austria, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Croatia and Hungary.
