Historical Concert of Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis returns to Vilnius!
m. K. Čiurlionis spent only half a year in his life in Vilnius. However, this semester entered the history of Lithuania. 1908 On Saturday, May 17, he organized the first concert of the Lithuanian Art Society in the Hall of Pagiriai Relžkeliai (Railway Club) (current "Vaidila Theater"). This is one of a few concerts organized by M. K. Čiurlionis and approved by historical sources in Vilnius. In commemoration of the 150th anniversary of our art and music genius, this exclusive concert will be reborn in the same place as 117 years ago! enjoy the evening just as it took place for the first time. M.K. Opus of Sacred Music of Čiurlionis. The exclusive program will be performed by even two evaluated Vilnius choirs - the Vilnius Sacred Music Choir Adorramus and Vilnius Choir Momkinum - led by dr. Imantas Jonas Šimkus. The piano heaps will be crowned with the concert by M. K. Čiurlionis' great -grandchild Rokas Zubovas. So dive into a historic and musical journey together.
