Zbigniew Wodeck was one of them. For many of us, simply Zbyszek. Stage colleague, dressing room friend. Humble, smiling, kind and professional to the point of pain. It is because of these qualities that he won the favor of other artists and won the hearts of the audience. In the hit song "My way" he sang:

Znam szyk złoconych sal,

Gdzie wielka gra orkiestra,

Znam też niejeden bal

Although several years have passed since Zbigniew Wodecki's death, the audience has not forgotten him. His songs enjoy unfading popularity, and loyal fans spontaneously respond to every musical memory of the Maestro.

It is through the prism of memories that the idea of the concert was born. There will be no fireworks, no stars, no big orchestra. Instead, there will be tears of excitement, songs with which the Maestro delighted successive generations of Poles, anecdotes that were numerous during the years of his creative path, and most importantly, a song of gratitude that we were given the opportunity to meet him.

The members of the RETRO BOYS group - vocalists and instrumentalists, as well as extremely energetic vocalist Ksenia Shaushyshwili - will take part in the concert. Thanks to her, we will be able to hear Zbigniew Wodecki's duets with such stars of the Polish scene as Irena Santor or Zdzisława Sośnicka.
