We will start from the heart of the Akmenė city - the central square, where you will hear interesting stories about the city's past. The guide will tell about the origins of the city, which date back to the 16th century, and its significance in the history of Lithuania. You will learn how Akmenė has changed over time, what challenges the city has faced and how it has preserved its cultural heritage.

During the tour you will visit the Independence Monument, which symbolizes the restoration of Lithuania's independence. A special place is dedicated to the largest butterfly exhibition in Lithuania, where you will see various types of exotic butterflies, and the museum staff will tell you how they are collected and preserved.

You will learn about the protection measures of the reserve and its importance for biodiversity in Lithuania
A visit to the workshop of Akmentikis Antanas Adomaitis
In the afternoon we will go to the workshop of the famous Akmenė artist Antanas Adomaitis. Here you will get to know the creative process of stone art up close, you will see various sculptures and paintings that reflect the local nature and Akmenė's cultural heritage.
