"No riding or driving!" - used to be a sign on Undinii alley. Aukštoji Panemunė, located in the company of a fresh heath and a wide river, was proud of the official status of a resort during the interwar period, so the peace of vacationers should not be disturbed, rudely! Although it is now an integral part of the bustling city of Kaunas, impressive fragments of the resort's history still abound here.
