🚌 Route: Kuršėnai - Gruzdžių manor - Gruzdžių St. Trinity Church – Šakyna Cemetery Chapel – Raudondvaris Manor – Paliesiai Manor – Fragments of Klaišiai Manor – Kuršėnai
🏰 Gruzdzii manor. The first stop is Gruzdzii manor, where you will visit the warehouse of the manor that has been brought back to life. The landlady's stories, historical finds, dioramas and a small gift for each participant of the excursion will await you.
⛪ St. Grudzii Trinity Church. An impressive neo-Gothic sanctuary with a rich history and amazing architecture. One of the most prominent symbols of Gruzdzii, associated with the Radvil family.
🕍 Šakyna cemetery chapel and legendary buns. The doors will be opened by a unique folk architecture chapel - the largest brick chapel in Northern Lithuania. After getting to know each other - a short stop for buns, which make Šakynas famous throughout Lithuania. And really - they are "Greek worthy"!
🏚️ Raudondvaris manor. You will visit the Raudondvaris manor, currently abandoned, but impressive in its time, which is said to be "as if it doesn't exist, but lives on in memory". You will hear stories about the former life of the manor and its owners.
🏰 Paliesia (Gerardai) manor. The pearl of Neo-Gothic architecture - Paliesiai Manor, built in 1903, will impress you with its architecture. The tour participants will be met here by the manor maid, who will share the manor's "pletka", and for lunch - a potato stewed in foil with sauerkraut and country sausage. Shakynas buns for a snack, mead and table water for a drink.
