Geological layers of the Permian and Triassic periods are exploited here, and fossils from the Jurassic period can also be found. The quarries are operated by gigantic machinery that weighs up to 700 tons. We will go on a space journey on September 26 at 10:00 a.m. Arrive 10 - 15 minutes earlier. Excursions take place even in bad weather conditions, it is necessary to take appropriate footwear, rubber boots.

INFORMATION FOR PARTICIPANTS:

Duration of the excursion: 4 hours. ;

Start of the tour: at the Ventos regional park visitor center (Ventas st. 30A, Ventos m., Akmenės district);

The tour is conducted by private cars (the distance covered by car is about 50 km);

During the tour, the quarries are walked on foot (the total distance is about 5 km);

Ticket price for an adult: 11 euros.

Children under the age of 16 do not need to purchase tickets.
