The wise men, better known as the three kings, followed the star to worship the newborn Christ. We can call them the first pilgrims and people who were not afraid of a difficult journey.
Desiring to experience the joy of the birth of Jesus, to make the humanity of God recognizable to everyone, artists tried to imagine it - they created many wonderful works. One of the oldest and one of the newest exhibits of the museum, although they are separated by almost 700 years, depict the same event - Bethlehem.
Remembering the meaning of holy Christmas, we will look at different works of art, find out which animals were closest to the Baby in prehistory, explore how angels are depicted, talk about the trip and look for real gold, frankincense and myrrh hidden in the museum.
Like artists hundreds of years ago, we will paint on wood, we will decorate our works with glitter and matte paint - we will depict three kings with gifts.
Place - Church Heritage Museum, St. Mykolo st. 9 (you will recognize the entrance from the gate with orange flags).
Duration - up to 1.5 hours.
Price per person – 7 EUR.
The ticket can be purchased at the museum box office or in the Paysera Tickets system.
