A week after Easter, commemorating the celebration of God's Mercy, we invite you to meet the story of the world's respectable Jesus. Do you know that the famous painting in 1934 was painted in Vilnius? Have you heard that the work has been wandering around various churches of Vilnius and Belarus for decades before it found itself in the shrine of God's Mercy?
Nun Faustina, whose vision painting was painted, shared her visions with a sinner of Pal. Fr. Michael Sopochka, Bernardine St. Rector of the Archangel Michael Church. Since Faustina could not draw, Fr. Sopochka appealed to the artist Eugeniusz Kazimirowski, who painted the first image of the merciful Jesus. By the decision of the Special Commission, 1937 The painting was presented to the public - hanging St. At the Archangel Michael Church, next to the great altar, and decorated the church until 1950.
