The museum invites children to an activity where Grazina Trekur will be constructed with the organist's educator we will construct playing organ! By laying and combining various details, we will find out what functions they perform, find out where and how the air comes from and how the real organ works.
Education will use Orgelkids constructor - DIY organ for children's acquaintance with tubular organ. The kit consists of 128 details: organ frame, keyboard, air box, belts, valves and 48 pipes. The educational constructor uses the same material used in the traditional way: oak and ash wood, sheep skin, etc. The constructor instantly arouses curiosity, the children are actively interested in what one or another detail is for what to do with it, where it will be used.
Orgelkids designers, created by organ master Wim Janssen (Netherlands), and the National Orgelkids License was acquired by the National Organ Association. This is the first and so far the only instrument of its kind in Lithuania.
The educational session is implemented in cooperation with the National Organ Association.
The duration of the session is about 1 hour
for children aged 6 to 14
