From February 8, every Saturday at 12:00 p.m. Excursions and audio-visual performances will take place in the Liepkalnis water storage, - the Energy and Technology Museum announces great news.
During the tours, the history of Vilnius springs and water will be told. The most interesting facts will surprise everyone: how does the water site and the Vilnius water management system work? What makes Vilnius unique in the whole world? How many liters of water in 1916 were consumed by the people of Vilnius? What happened in 1941 when dysentery and typhus epidemics broke out in the capital? Why does the water storage echo and how to communicate in it?
The second part of the event is an audiovisual experiential show. Light and sound effects will allow visitors to reveal the secrets of the ocean one by one, like a new page in a book. The story will take the visitors to the most mysterious and the least researched fifth - 11 thousand. meters deep - the level of the Hadopelagic Ocean.
