Excursion + Concert!
There is no place in the Old Town of Vilnius from which you would not see at least one church. Their entire quarters and towers not only shape the exclusive face of Vilnius, but also determined the character of the city. During this walk, we will get acquainted with monasteries, sacred spaces that change their face, survival transformation, and open to the city with new stories.
We will start a walk on the Hill of the Savior, next to the Missionary Church, which rises to the sky. We will visit the current monastery of the sisters of the Merciful Jesus, the Square of the Tower, where the sisters of Sharite, the Raminoja church near the former Augustinian monastery were located. Along the way, in the shrine of Mercy, we will look at a painting whose copies are scattered after the Catholic prayer house around the world.
Date and Time: July 24 6 p.m.S. 28, Vilnius. 45 minutes? The tour will end at St. Catherine's Church, whose sacred space, at the Christopher Festival that night, is an exclusive, personal performance of composer Gediminas Gelgotas.
