Lithuanian champion Šiauliai "Gintra" continues its struggles in Europe and is preparing for the first qualifying round of the UEFA Women's European Cup.

The draw determined that the representative team of the city of Šiauliai will meet one of the Austrian league chains Graz SK "Sturm".

The first match between them on the road will be held on August 26 and the return meeting on September 2. will be played in Šiauliai.

This qualifying round will take place on a home-away basis, so the fate of the ticket to the next round will be decided in two matches.

Last year, Gintra debuted in the first organized UEFA Women's European Cup. In the second qualifying round, the Gintriettes met the powerful Danish club Farum Nordsjælland, and although they managed to beat their opponents at home, the Danes were superior in the return match and ended the journey of the Šiauliai team.
