2025 January 18 6 p.m. In the cultural center of the Academy - the cult performance "WEDDING" directed by Oskar Koršunov.
The performance was created based on the work of the German classic Bertold Brecht and based on today's current events. A phenomenal phenomenon and an ever-changing performance, it's a new adventure and long-lasting memories. It deals with the moral duplicity of the society and the entire action basically revolves around the pre-wedding loss of virginity of the bride. But "The Wedding" is not only about two-faced morality and chastity, but also about the breakdown of customs, the absurd deformation of what were once the most sacred things in human existence: weddings, funerals, the senses of the cosmogonic cycle and the traditions of celebration. The play is extremely open, there is a lot of improvisation, and the types and situations created are so apt that they do not leave anyone indifferent.
The producers of the play are OKT/Vilnius City Theatre, Lithuanian Music and theater academy.
