Sharon Eyal · Sorrow Deferred
S-E-D / Sharon Eyal Dance Company · France / Israel
Sharon Eyal's work is an experience that cannot be explained, only experienced. People remember her performances for years. "Delay the Sadness" is the most personal of them all.
One of the most influential choreographers of contemporary dance presents a work born from the most painful experience - the loss of a mother. Eight dancers speak with their bodies what words do not: breathing, moving, stopping. Characterized by physical intensity and precise movement, Eyal creates a hypnotic space where sadness becomes a force and death a part of life.

Sharon Eyal | Gai Behar
Sharon Eyal is one of the brightest voices in contemporary dance in the world. Her works are physically tense, shudderingly precise and inexplicably hypnotic. Together with long-time partner Gai Behar in 2013. founded company S-E-D has become one of the most anticipated dance companies in the world. From the Paris Opera to Sadler's Wells, from the Nederlands Dans Theater to Barcelona, Eyal's creative voice is heard on all the world's most important stages.
