Imagine: you enter a sauna. Steam, silence, foreign body nearby. And suddenly something in you wakes up. Not controlled by the mind, but by the body. You want to shout, laugh, run, stay.
That's exactly what happens on stage - to two dancers who got into a place where there are no rules left. They fall, writhe, scream, touch each other as if they were feeling their bodies for the first time. They no longer know what belongs to them - the feeling or the role. And you watch - and you ask yourself: who is watching what here?
"the HorMoans" is not a story, but an experience. Portuguese duo Beatriz Mira and Tiago Barreiros have produced a production that balances between laughter and tragedy so precisely that you no longer know when you stopped breathing. Their duets have already won awards in Rotterdam, Szczecin, and were invited to the Cannes Dance Festival.
This performance doesn't ask if you liked it. He asks what are you going to do with it.
