The comedy picks up speed when these two characters meet on the eve of the holidays in the same apartment. She plans to go to a New Year's masquerade party. He asks on the phone to run to his house for a while, otherwise he threatens to jump out of the window. She good-naturedly runs to save a stranger, and He lures her into an unplanned date and is still going to reveal a secret that will turn her life upside down.
