Dance performance "Saikas" - The creative work of the Nuepik dance troupe, exploring the theme of balance through the continuous physical connection of two dancers, Oksana Griaznova and Marius Pinigis, and the music created and performed live by composer Arūnas Perioks. "Saikas" is a performance about the search for balance through the relationship with oneself, but most of all through learning in the relationship with others. One of the fundamental human needs is connection with another person. All relationships are different and unique. Some may be very deep, others superficial, but they all contribute to our growth. In connection with another, we discover, feel, learn, accumulate experience. A deep connection with another person is never simple, it is always complex. Like anything, a relationship can be healthy or it can be toxic. It's like a scale on which we oscillate between extremes, through which we realize the importance of balance.
