The performance is based on B. Sruoga's novel "Forest of the Gods" revealing experiences of World War II in Stuthov (Poland) concentration camp. hierarchy, debilitating work, poor life and punishment of human dignity.
The author and director Agnė Sunklodaitė, based on successful creative experience and the genre of puppet and object theater, expands the essential questions about human nature: what humanity is human? Where is the boundary between humanity and humanity? Are we still able to understand the horrors of the Holocaust today and remain alert so that similar things do not happen again? People tend to forget the big history lessons. The declared compassion, tolerance is declared, but it is also able to be frightened by "other" people, as if the perfect race, healthy and template "fair" people are desired in the subconscious. What can we do to keep the horrors of World War II or Siberian exile? Maybe look back at yourself? After all, all crimes of humanity are originally born in the consciousness of one or another individual. What does it determine?
