Orpheus, a stream-of-consciousness surrealist poet who seeks to write a brilliant poem for a mass popular poetry contest. His creative method is interrogating a horse that has taken up residence in the house with the hope that it will be possible to recreate the poetry itself. Meanwhile, the forgotten and rejected Eurydice finds solace in the company of the glass Ertebiz. Unfortunately, it soon becomes clear that neither Ertebiz nor the horse are what they seem. A play by Jean Cocteau, written almost a hundred years ago, by one of the figures of French cultural life. And yet the topics touched on here are no less relevant and important today. According to the director of the play Ž. Vingelios, it is a kind of fairy tale for adults about dreams and reality, relationships and family, careerism overshadowing the latter: "J. Cocteau behaves here as a careful juggler, creating a world where there is no single truth, and dreams become real again".

The plot of the play combines the traditions of classical theater, surrealism, Dadaism and visual arts. Reality mixes with a dream, the main themes of life and death, creative ambitions and personal happiness conflict unfold.
