This is a play about people and their lives, in which all kinds of things happen, sometimes not very pleasant, but that's the way it is and there's nothing to beautify it, although sometimes you want to.

And we want to say about the performance itself that it will be like a kaleidoscope in which the colorful fragments of life are constantly changing. Through poetry, music and dance, we will explore the universals of human existence: love and hate, joy and sadness, hopes and disappointments. Which is true anyway. Or that poems will become our guides through the labyrinths of life, in search of answers to eternal questions, which is also true, but it is better to ask all these truths directly. WHY A PIPE?

We answer:

We are all like a pipe - empty, clogged, hollow, endlessly long, connecting thousands of people, or short and rarely used, metal, plastic, fresh water or slurry - something is constantly flowing through the pipe - water, air, information, life.

The creators of the show, Balys Ivanauskas and Artūras Dubaka, who have been creating poetic events for twelve years, this time offer a completely a new experience. Although it is customary for them to take the stage themselves, this time the creators step back and take on directing and composing music, giving space to four young actors. Long-term experience allows the duo to create unique poetic compositions in which poems, personal stories and music merge into a single, emotionally strong event that has no analogues. Poems of Vainius Bak, Henrikos Radauskas, Vytautas P. Bložės, M. K. Čiurlionis, Sabina Brilos, Ramutė Skučaitė, Sigitas Geda, Marcelijus Martinaitis, Dovydas Grajauskas, Gintaras Grajauskas, Juozs Erlicks, Paulius Širvis.
