What can happen when an ordinary working day in a small cafe-bakery turns into a chain of the most unexpected events? The cafe owner's sisters Vilma (actors Vitalija Mockevičiūtė or Neringa Varnelytė) and Laima (actress Aušra Štukytė) have no idea that their peace will be disturbed by an unexpected news - a mysterious tax inspector (actors Ramūnas Šimukauskas or Andrius Bialobžeskis) is coming to the town. And then their peaceful daily routine collapses in an instant. Confusion boils up on the stage: one suggests hiding, another - lying, the third - scheming... And the more plans, the more confused everything becomes! The employee Kostas (actor Julius Žalakevičius) - a charismatic emigrant from the Balkans, whose Lithuanian language sounds as funny as his ideas - brings even more confusion. Each character offers their own "genius plan" to evade scrutiny. And when it seems that the situation has already reached a dead end, the action of the comedy suddenly turns in a completely different direction - the secrets and intrigues of the characters are revealed, which make you look at them from a completely new angle. EXTRAORDINARY MONDAY is a fun, witty and intriguing comedy that will not only make you laugh, but also surprise you with an unexpected detective twist.
