The dance performance "Youth, or scenarios according to which parents and children live" has already become the exclusive premiere of the ending season of the A|CH theater, which received sold-out tickets and strong emotional reactions from the audience. The premiere performance continues its journey through Lithuania and into the hearts of the audience in the new, already 24th season of the theater.

In the play, whose central thematic axis is the not always simple relationship between parents and children, for the first time even three dances were intertwined genres: classical ballet, contemporary-modern dance and street dance. Also, for the first time in the history of the A|CH theater, well-known, experienced masters of stage art, ballet soloists, actors, dancers and children aged 13-16, the most talented students of ballet, dance and acting schools, are creating roles on one stage.

The plot of the play "Youth" intertwines fragments of the lives of six families and collides two worlds - children's and adults'. It is a contrasting psychological tragicomedy, in which the modern dramas of family life are conveyed in the language of dance, to the powerful music of Johann Sebastian Bach.

Talking about the new dance performance "Youth", A. Cholina emphasizes: "I have always been interested in getting closer to the truth about life, exploring various aspects of relationships between people. Parent-child relationships are the most complex form of communication between people. Families are basically created at a young age, so most of them become parents when they are still children...

This performance is a kind of art therapy session that allows you to look inside the life of a family. With this work, I want to encourage adults to look at children as equal personalities and to see the individuality they have brought in them. I hope that seeing the behavior models of families in the play will make you think and inspire you to change..."

The strong impact of the play "Youth" and its ability to deeply touch the hearts of the audience has also been evaluated by research - an emotion measurement experiment in which dozens of the audience of the play participated, and their reactions were analyzed by experienced analysts and psychologists, the performance's effect was identified as undeniably strong, transformative, encouraging not only great aesthetic pleasure and joy, but also contemplation and self-reflection of the audience about their own relationships with loved ones.
