American writer Kate DiCamillo's book was already recognized by US parents as the best book for children in the year of its publication (2006) and was included in the "School Library Journal's" list of 100 best books for children.

The director Kotryna Siaurusaitytė, who is presenting her fourth directorial work at the Juozos Miltinis Drama Theater, claims that the play will offer children another wonderful way of getting to know the world - theater. "While reading, it seemed as if I was actually traveling with the main character, meeting the most diverse and very sympathetic characters and simultaneously experiencing both the most beautiful emotions and the saddest ones... This story has an air, a mystery - this is what is most fascinating, engaging and allows in its own way, based on individual experience, to understand and interpret." - says K. Siaurusaitytė.
