Simon Stephens' adaptation of Mark Haddon's novel THE STRANGE THINGS THAT HAPPENED TO THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME a two-part adventure

English writer Mark Haddon (b. 1962 ) is best known for his novel The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, published in 2003. and soon became an international bestseller (the novel was published in Lithuania in 2004 by "Tyto alba", in 2020 by "Sofoklis"; translator Birutė Bersėnienė). The novel has won more than 17 literary prizes, including the prestigious Whitbread Book of the Year Award and the Commonwealth Writers' Prize for Best First Book. in 2019 In The Guardian's 100 Best 21st Century was rated #19 on the book list of "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time." Mark Haddon also writes plays, children's books, poetry, scripts for television and radio plays.
