OLEGAS ŠAPOŠNIKOVAS - well-known Latvian theater director, professional doctor, psychologist. Since 2001, he has been staging plays in the most important theaters in Latvia, and has staged several plays in Lithuania.

He has been directing the State Theater of Daugavpils since 2011.

In his work, the director often combines two opposite poles - traditional psychological theater and shocking, provocative theater forms.

About the performance "Lunenberg" the director says: "I could compare the very light but deep text of this play to Mozart's music, the performance of which always requires mastery, creativity discipline and a special sense of freedom. We invite the audience, one might say, almost to a fairy tale, where the characters solve problems that are well understood by all of us like superheroes. These characters are a great example of how it is possible to be free and strong personalities without being ideal, because it is impossible to be ideal. And it is important to emphasize that the play is not just about strong personalities, but about strong WOMEN and MEN who make mistakes, do stupid things, get offended and angry, but still know how to love life and each other."

GABIJA JARAMINAITĖ, VALDA BIČKUTĖ and JOKŪBAS BAREIKIS - famous and audience-loved actors of Lithuanian theater and cinema, who have created dozens of roles each in the country's theaters, cinema and television.
