Daiva Čepauskaitė PUPOS one-part drama
Alfons and Brigita have been living together for many years. They, like many couples who have lived together for more than one or two decades, are deeply in love with each other. Their daily life is full of swear words, various disagreements and petty domestic conflicts. One fateful day brings them bags of beans, a homemade freight elevator and an unexpected chance to talk. Can the two still hear each other? The story, full of light humor and sentimentality, invites us to consider the questions of this life and the next, together with an elderly and peculiarly charming couple.
"Pupos" is one of the first plays of playwright Daiva Čepauskaitė (b. 1967). For her, the playwright in 2007 was awarded the Golden Stage Cross.
The project is financed by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania.
