For his part, Edward, although capable of thinking, is firmly convinced that he does not love anyone. Until one day, when the family goes on a boat trip, Edward falls into the ocean...
"The Extraordinary Voyage of Edward Tulane" is a fantastic, difficult and valuable journey of the porcelain rabbit Edward, in which he begins to consider what love, loneliness, longing, friendship are and eventually realizes that his heart is made to love. American writer Keitė DiCamillo's book was already recognized by American parents as the best book for children in the year of its publication (2006) and was included in the "School Library Journal's" list of 100 best books for children.
The director Kotryna Siaurusaitytė, who is already presenting her fourth directorial work at the Juozas Miltinis Drama Theater, says that the play will offer children another wonderful way to learn about the world with playful methods and boundless intelligence. būdą – teatrą.
