Dance Performance for Beginners
The performance tells about two athletes of different nationalities that meet in different sports competitions. Everyone wants to be the winner, but success is accompanied by one or the other. The performance brings out the topic of competition. It is analyzed how to accept a defeat, how not to lose hope and continue to achieve your goal. Friendship, reconciliation, each other's support are also sought. The author and director of the performance idea Ieva Jackevičiūtė uses cooperation of dance and sports, where the specifics of different sports, the principles of the game, the rules are conveyed. Here the audience is not the survivors, they are active participants of Vieksmo, where they can become fans, judges or even players.
