Knowing this, the actors of Klaipėda Youth Theater invite you to get to know the less heard Andersen's tale "Twelve of the postal carriage".

Andersen's tale "Twelve of the postal carriage" includes a collection of the most beautiful tale of the writer and allows you to know the cyclicality of life and reminds you of the uniqueness of each time of year. Although the action of history begins on winter, New Year's Eve, the narrative reveals the uniqueness of each month of the year. It all starts with a mail carriage stops at the city gate. It has twelve mysterious passengers. All of them are unlike each other, bright and special, and more importantly, they bring twelve -month gifts.

“In this tale, as a calendar, we can look at what we look forward to every year, why it is worth waiting for a new beginning every year. The tale Andersen wrote more than 160 years ago - it is very interesting to compare how he imagined the course of the year at the time, how he described the unique qualities of each month. In the performance, we are trying to supplement this authentic attitude with elements of modern human life, such that our smallest viewers find the relationship with each month, ”says actress Ieva Pakštytė.

The performance creative team - 6 young theater professionals, all of them are students of different generations. The stage experience of the actors in this performance will be revealed in every possible aspects - the team not only creates a dramatic interpretation of the tale, but also takes care of the scenography, costumes, soundtrack.
