DIDIEJI ŠIAULIAI, created especially for this festival, is a work of a hard-to-define genre. This is not a "real" performance or a traditional guided tour. Usually, we learn about the past on excursions, and we meet ourselves in the theater. The authors of this work combined both elements, so questions about where we come from and who we are cannot be avoided. DIIEJI ŚIAULAI invites you on a journey through the ages and the history of the city in order to better understand ourselves. The main creators and authors of this performance with a guide - writer Rimantas Kmita and professional guide Donatas Jokūbaitis - are still Šiauliai residents at heart, who care about the city's history and present. They invite you to explore together the phenomenon of DIGIĆIĆI ŠIAULIĆI, to look for signs of the city's prosperity and potential today. During the walk-performance, the historical figures of Šiauliai will come to life, and they will be embodied by the actors of the State Drama Theater of Šiauliai. So DIDEIJI ŠIAULIAI is both a performance and a guided walk.
