THEATRODROME | ŽUPSTYTI / ŠEIKOS DANCE THEATER The acclaimed and audience-loved play about the Neringa Dunes will be performed in an equally mystical place in Šiauliai - at the Salduvė mound. This is a poetic story about the villages of Neringa and the interesting personalities who lived or stopped here for a while, whose stories, like the villages of Neringa, are already filled with sand humming in the wind. The performance will convey the destinies of the people who lived here in the laconic language of movement, music and voice against the background of the changing landscape over the centuries. The plot of the play is made up of mysterious fragments - disappeared villages, songs by Louis Réza, the postal route Prussia - Petersburg, Queen Louise's gesture, Tom Mann's household and existence, the footsteps of Simone de Beauvoir and Jean-Paul Sartre, the strokes of the Nida painters' colony. The dance and history performance "Užpustyti" is usually performed on the Parnidis dune, from which the Nida settlement and the pages of the Užpustyti history can be seen. The image of the dancers' bodies and nature will respond to the historical-poetic-musical narrative heard through headphones and will reveal the magical realism of the Curonian Spit.
