"On the way " is an evening performance-a bus trip through the streets of Šiauliai. The tour guide will be the well-known character Rapolas from the performance "Bagadelnia" by the audience of the Šiauliai State Drama Theater. Together with the audience, he will travel by bus like a time machine, revealing various events in his life. Each bus stop is a different story of Rapolo's life, which the audience will experience while watching the scenes performed by the actors in different areas of the city. Thanks to the efforts of the talented light artist Vilias Vilutis, ordinary places in the city will light up with new colors. No less important role in the performance is also played by the costumes of the characters, the musical arrangement and the architecture of the city. Thus, this fun and interactive tour of Šiauliai will allow the audience to get to know not only the family life of one character, but also visually reveal the changing culture, social and economic life in Lithuania in 1965-2020.

What the most important moments of life look like in memories , when you look at them from the perspective of the already traveled path? How is our worldview influenced by the people we meet, changing political systems and technologies, and how does a person's relationship with himself and the world change with them? The creator of this performance-journey - director and playwright Aleksandr Špilevoj - offers the audience an impressive theatrical experience and a sensitive look at what happens along the way in life's journeys.
