The play "The Extraordinary Journey of Edward the Rabbit" is based on the worldwide popular American author Kate DiCamillo's children's novel "Edward Tulein's extraordinary journey".

In the performance, you will meet the rabbit Edward Tulein - a beautiful porcelain toy who is absolutely loved by his owner - the girl Abilena. But Edward the rabbit does not know how to love. Although Abilene shows Edward great respect and love, he thinks only of himself and is constantly enjoying his good looks. But one fateful day, he falls overboard into the sea. After spending 297 days at the bottom of the ocean, Edward is washed ashore and pulled from the fishing net by passing fishermen. Thus begins the porcelain rabbit's great journey towards love. During his long wanderings, Edward changes the lives of the characters he meets, and at the same time learns to love and long. Edward's journey takes him not only far from home, but also far from who he once was.

What does it mean to love? Empathize? Longing? Opening our hearts to others often makes us not only happy, but also vulnerable. Along with joy, we also let in anxiety, worry, longing, and sometimes even pain. But everyone who has ever loved knows that it is when our heart is beating with love that we feel most alive. The wonderful fairy tale of the cocky Edward teaches that a loving heart sometimes breaks, but all feelings grow us, and indifference turns us into cold porcelain dolls.

The sensitive Edward the Rabbit the story of the journey is told in the performance with the help of impressive 20th century beginning with breath-taking costumes and scenography, elements of puppet theater, live songs and dances.

This performance will enchant the hearts of both children and adults and will once again remind - "if you don't intend to love or be loved, then the whole journey is pointless".
