Shall we try again? Maybe another cartel? Who hasn't experienced such situations in their life? We keep trying and hope that we will finally succeed. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it only makes it worse, as happened to the heroes of this comedy that became a global hit. The play "Let's try again" is based on the play "God of Carnage" (2008) by the famous French author Yasmina Reza. performed on stages around the world. The comedy depicts a situation that is quite domestic and easily recognizable to many of us. One afternoon, two intelligent couples meet to discuss a fight between their children, during which one boy's tooth was knocked out. The parents of the children - the families of Ujė and Rejė - try to resolve the conflict in a supposedly civilized way, finding a way of reconciliation acceptable to all. At the beginning, the polite and cultured communication gradually takes on an increasingly harsh tone - with each attempt to communicate, the tension between the families and the couples themselves grows more and more. In the middle of the meeting, the coffee is replaced by rum, and then the hatred, dissatisfaction and even aggression hidden under the external gloss and decency of the couple emerge. Couples start throwing not only accusations, irrational arguments, sexist and homophobic insults, but also things that happen to be at hand. A planned meeting of civilized adults ends in childish uncontrollable chaos.

Although at first glance the content of the comedy seems quite simple, domestic and even banal, in fact there are many themes and deeper layers of meaning hidden in it. . The biggest achievement of this comedy is not direct, but intelligent and very well-aimed humor with a light touch of irony, which the quartet of talented actors slyly and dosed on stage.

Critics unanimously agree that subtle and Y. Reza's incomparable humor satisfies even the most discerning audience. So it's not surprising that the audience's favorite comedy returns to our theater stage with a renewed cast and a somewhat self-deprecating title "Let's try again".
