Ingrid Lausund's play "Bestuburiada" examines modern society and work culture, revealing the constant pressure, competition and mobbing of employees.
The play demonstrates how such experiences can break a person. A broken person loses morals, psychological strength, independence, so all these things can make a person aggressive and toxic to the environment. The loss of the value compass leads the characters towards self-destruction, although they still believe in the promised better tomorrow: salary increase, praise, promotion. However, this promised tomorrow becomes an illusion when the boss manipulates and controls the situation, and the characters of the play become part of the "invertible" class chain.
This is a drama of "workaholics" and everyone with bosses, revealing how fear and the desire to please turn people into tragicomics. characters.
