The performance "Sixty Steps" is the 60 of the Telšiai Samogitian Drama Theater, which begins in 1965, when the Telšiai Theater was given the name of Žemaitė.
The performance remembers directors, actors, a remembrance of prose or dramaturgy, who worked at the Telšiai Samogitian Drama Theater, which was staged on stage.
In addition to historical facts, the legendary "matchmaking" by Samogitia, director Laimutė Pocevičienė, is revived in the performance. Matchmaking is played with the same scenography designed by architect Algirdas Žebrauskas, the scenography of the artist Giedrė Slavinskienė in the stage costumes that are made using bedspreads and knitwear stored in the grandparents and great -grandparents' wardrobe, with the same content and Samogitian language.
In the performance, the audience will also see the short story of director D. Žilinskas' staged by Žilinskas, "The Devil's Catches the Priest." The storyline known to everyone, a peculiar interpretation of the story, will remember the moral truths of man.
