When the sun sets after a long summer day, and the moon hangs above our heads and the first stars shine, the storytellers wake up in the dense Anykščių heath, inviting the spectators who have wandered here to an authentic one-night experience.
"Pachios" is a night performance - a journey in the Anykščiai heath, created from real stories told to the production team by the surrounding villages and single women of respectable age, whose destinies too often undeservedly remain in the margins of our history. These are stories testifying to their love and loss, waiting and celebrating, fears and courage, fullness and loneliness.
The play is performed together with the actors by the traditional kanklei ensemble "Laumakė" of the Anykščiai Cultural Center.
The audience is welcomed in the old Užbliuvonii single seat, where the founders of the "Meno alchemija" theater and the authors of this play are gradually settling down. The performance-journey will not begin until the sun has fully set, but the audience is invited to arrive in advance, pitch a tent, rest and stay here for the whole night. We will meet you and invite you to settle down in our campsite, take a breather, take a walk along the forest paths, hang out in the hammocks, play outdoor games, drink tea and get to know the creators of this unusual theater.
When the sun sets, we will all meet at the bonfire, where the one-hour journey to the hidden stories of the Anykščiai heather will begin.
This is a performance that is not viewed but experienced. After it ends, the audience can get to know the creators of the performance, chats by the fire, hot tea, snacks, music and maybe even an accordion and dancing.
In the morning - a common breakfast, farewell and a trip home.

Important!
The play takes place in a real, dense night forest. Please take care of suitable, comfortable clothing and footwear, mosquito repellent, and assess your physical abilities to move along the forest trails in the dark. When we are in the forest, we protect silence, respect wild nature and its inhabitants.
Arrival and settlement (tent placement, installation, familiarization with the space) - from 19:00. The performance starts at 22:00 (July 27), 21:00 (August 22). The duration of the performance is 1 hour, after the performance we invite you to stay by the fire: there will be tea, fried vegetables, marshmallows, music, songs and dances. Those who wish will be able to spend the night in their tents and have breakfast in the morning.
The event can be filmed and photographed.
