In 1945, the Sakartveli National Ballet "Suchišvili" was founded by Iliko and Nino Suchišvili. Today, the collective is managed by the third generation of the family - the grandsons of the founders. The dynasty has preserved and nurtures traditions, turning "Suchišvili" into the pride of Sakartveli's art and cultural heritage.
A unique program awaits viewers in the USA, Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Sweden, Lithuania, Latvia and other countries. It includes the best performances throughout the company's history - a true embodiment of perfection and the highest craftsmanship, which has become Sakartvelo's calling card on the world stage.
For eight decades, Sakartvelo National Ballet "Suchishvili" has conquered the hearts of millions of spectators, appearing on the world's most prestigious stages - from the Metropolitan Opera in New York to La Scala in Milan. The world has called him variously: "the eighth wonder of the world" (The New York Times), "a hurricane on stage" (Daily Telegraph), "an energy that can lift an entire hall to its feet" (Le Figaro). However, all these descriptions are united by one thing - Suchishvili is a phenomenon that has no equal in the world. A real frenzy of energy and beauty.
The concert program is a real explosion of emotions. The live ensemble orchestra creates a special world of sound - unique national instruments and old performance techniques are used here, carefully handed down from generation to generation.
