The Youth Theater, founded in the former territory of the Great Vilnius Ghetto, is consistently interested in this topic and, in cooperation with talented theater creators, constantly initiates artistic research of this brutal and dynamic era.
The latest generation director Justinas Vinciūnas, looking for a unique approach to the Holocaust and a whole range of topics related to this phenomenon, turns not to the great works of fiction, but to the authentic memories of Kazimierz Sakowicz, a witness to the massacre of Jews in Vilnius, in 2012. after the publication of the book "Panerių dienorastis 1941-1943 m. in the form of.
According to the director J. Vinciūnas, the testimonies of K. Sakowicz are so cruel that you have to face the limit of your compassion while reading them.
