A cheerful, ballet for the little ones - "Candy fairies" is the final performance of the students of the Baltic Ballet Theater (BBT) studio, performed together with professional ballet soloists Kristina Tarasevičiūta, Evelina Fokina, Audrone Stelione.
During the performance, the little ones will see a fairy tale about three candy fairies - Caramel, Chocolate and Sugarcane, who were always flying on a big cloud of cotton candy. best friends and enjoyed each other's delicacies. However, one day the chocolate started to turn into hot chocolate, which made a hole in the cotton candy cloud and the brown beauty fell to the ground, and the children who found her there immediately loved her immensely - after all, chocolate is one of the most delicious delicacies. Then the remaining two fairies became jealous of Chocolate and descended to earth, where they
argued over which one the children liked more. Suddenly, the wind of their anger blew away the cotton candy cloud and they all fell to the ground. The fairies had no choice but to ask the children which candy was the tastiest? Of course, the friendship of the fairies won. After all, children love everything: chocolate and caramel and candies.
The source of inspiration for the performance was the motif of the fairy tale "Saldainiai fējas", whose libretto was written by choreographer Marija Simona Smolskienė, aimed to stimulate the imagination of the little viewers through the taste receptors. Visualizations of video projections are used, their close contact with the narration of the story, and the motive of the movement performed by the ballerinas, gracefully and artistically expressed in the language of professional ballet, including the small audience in the action. Nino Rota's music (from the soundtracks of Fellino's films), especially adapted for children, is particularly expressive and eloquent in its emotionality. During the project, a friendly environment is created, ecological luminescent costume details are used, and sensitive sound effects, all of which strengthen the emotional impression of small viewers.
