According to director Šarūnas Dateniis, he is born not in the time of Carlo Collodi's tale, and not even today, but in the near future, where today's problems of consumption, automation and alienation are rampant. And no one really carves him out of wood - here he is not a stick figure, but an android installed with the help of artificial intelligence. As soon as he was born, Pinocchio already knows his rights and needs as well as possible, but in order to understand the essential human things, he has to overcome a long, perilous path. Indeed, even we ourselves are often unclear what it means to be a good person these days and, most importantly, how to become one? After all, despite good wishes, it is often not possible to act according to the "correct" plan...During this difficult journey to get to know the world, for the first time Š. In Dateni's performance, the audience can expect many original songs: electronic music, non-poetic verses, jazz and hip-hop styles. In addition, for the first time, the playwright Teklė Kavtaradze was invited to help, who helped to fundamentally change and adapt the text of the classic tale of C. Collodi to the present day.
