Street Theater performance "Beton, Beton I Love You" is based on real stories about childhood and adolescence memories. Stories are collected from people who grew up in the early 2000s. These people whose stories are embodied by actors, lived in the yards of block buildings, People who created the world with their own rules.
Cold, gray concrete, and exactly the same sky, where we sometimes only saw the sun. As we lost the streets, many we walked, not wanting to come home, even at dusk, and later, at dawn. As the concrete houses, where each corner is, every face is known, so before the pain has been seen and faded. And at the same time, so strongly reminiscent of the house. In the evenings, the music that you will not hear in the world is nowhere to be heard, and if you hear, you will return to those warm summer evenings. This street culture with its own rules, our own games, when day after day we scattered not only things, but a part of ourselves. And as we grew up walking exactly the same streets of the area, we can collect them back. What do each of us carry with us day by day and sometimes lose a little bit? All you have to do is enter the stairwell and rise up. Where longing voices and steps that bounce into concrete walls sound. To the same ones that sometimes seem and have become the home of all of us.
