The radio play "Twenty Four" is a recitative poem for voices and two choirs. In the text score of the writer Vaiva Grainytė, the lines of solo voices intertwine with the thick textures of the choirs, creating the impression of rites, mystical ritualism. The main character's inner journey in the play is a dreamlike geological well digging deep: into the wells of the past, hesitation, fear and memories. After crossing and overcoming them, the transformation of the heroine takes place - a meeting with her unrecognized, abandoned part. The number "twenty-four" symbolizes alchemical connections, fulfillment, completeness, acceptance. The radio play is based on the archetypal scheme of the hero's myth, offering its poetic, modern treatment of radio art - a vocal mass of tectonic layers of the subconscious.
