Almost all of us know the stories from Greek mythology about Prometheus, who disobeyed the Olympian gods and gave fire to mortals. And if you had to be Prometheus yourself, would you dare? What would be your Promethean story?
Three actors present their own interpretation of the myth to the audience, sharing Promethean stories about hopes and fears, admiration and shame, learning from mistakes and repeating mistakes. Traveling through different historical periods, the creators are looking for human Prometheus.
Perhaps it is those who, even knowing that disobeying the existing order will be punished, decide to light a flame just for the sake of the opportunity for others to warm themselves? This theater work is dedicated to those human Prometheans.
