My mother's room is cozy and warm, maybe a little too loaded with things. In it, mother Thelma and her adult daughter Jessie spend the evening among lace of various shapes and colors, many boxes and sweet cakes with whipped cream. Only the usual and recognizable routine is suddenly interrupted by Jesse's words about the planned suicide. This message becomes a starting point, forcing the characters to look at each other more attentively, to reconsider life and death.
