THIS - THE FOURTH THURSDAY OF NOVEMBER - IS KNOWN WORLDWIDE AS THANKSGIVING DAY. "BARRIO DE TANGO" WILL OPEN THE DOORS OF THE VILNIUS TANGO THEATER AND INVITE YOUR FRIENDS TO EXPERIENCE THE JOY OF THANKSGIVING AND COMMUNITY.

The continuous journey that began many years ago to Argentina, sometimes called the edge of the world, for its refreshing natural beauty, hot sun, enchanting mountains grandeur, sincere people, the rhythm of chacarera, the flapping of zamba scarves, the smell of juicy gaucho steaks and the enchanting tango crowning all this, a small part of it moved to Lithuania - the Vilnius Tango Theater, and with it impressive tango shows, including "Barrio de Tango" (lit. . tango district, the place where tango was born/lives) - the work of the creators of the Vilnius tango theater, which takes you to the famous suburb of Buenos Aires - La Boca - the place where tango is believed to have been born in the colorful Caminito street and invites you to feel the depth of the soul of this wonderful culture. Because tango, like a person, is different. But always, without exception, charming, brave and loving!

"Barrio de Tango" is danced by European tango champions Rūta Keller and Alexis Gonzalez, Vilnius Tango Theater dancers Emmanuel Riquelme, Veronica Gabriela Luna, and pianist Eglė Kasteckaitė. Ugnė Kaušiūtė and singer Patricija Luščynska.
