"Roulette" is created by a director already well known in Lithuania and choreographer Jo Strømgren. LNDT 2018 his play "Durys" won even four Golden Crosses of the Stage awards and is still a favorite of the audience. With the aforementioned performance, the director proved that reflection requires distance, having analyzed the features and flaws of the Lithuanian national character, this time Jo Strømgren begins to explore what dreams and desires we suppress in ourselves in order to be safe and like everyone else. The roulette-like scenes are presented by the director and actors as a sitcom, where each character tries to escape from suffocation, hoping to experience at least a temporary sense of happiness. Both the young audience and the elderly are invited to this premiere, knowing that the routine and the desire to escape from it are relevant for all age groups. and seek religious answers. The play is also about freedom of choice and responsibility, about the role of reality and the illusory world, and finally the play will raise very universal considerations about the era we live in.

The action of "Roulette" takes place in a small, insignificant office, one tiny mistake turns the characters to the carousel of the most unexpected events. No one knows what the next turn will bring.

"In life we ​​take calculated risks. The cautious may experience boredom or a certain monotony, while the bold ignore any boundaries. Fortunately, each of us can choose. But what happens when someone else takes the risk for you? With this stage piece, together with the creative team, we will aim to create a wide field of associations and interpretations, which allows us to look at the narrative of the performance from a variety of perspectives - the actualities of our Nordic daily life, the current geopolitical situation or just the ordinary life of one person, regardless of the period or place," says Jo Strømgren. .
