"Father" is the latest performance of Teatro P consisting of poems, autobiographical stories and live music.
The three creators: director, actor Balys Ivanauskas, saxophonist Kazimieras Jušinskas and guitarist Justinas Žilys created a sensitive, lively, humorously life-like work that invites you to connect searches.
*Balys Ivanauskas – actor, director, actively working in several Lithuanian theaters (Stalo Theater, Juozos Miltinis Drama Theater, Kaunas City Chamber Theater, etc.), several performances nominated for "Golden Stage Crosses". The creator is also engaged in pedagogical activities - he conducts theater classes for children. Founder of Teatro P.
*Justinas Žilys – jazz guitarist, pedagogue, who plays with many ensembles and projects (In albedo, Delasferos, Kafka: Insomnia, solo work)
*Kazimieras Jušinskas – saxophonist of the young generation actively performing at Lithuanian jazz festivals. He is a participant in interdisciplinary projects: dir. In the films of Karolis Kaupinis "Radvila Darius, Vytauto", dir. Kamilė Gudmonaitė's opera "Things I didn't dare say, and now it's too late", dir. In the play "Kafka Insomnia" by Žilvinas Vingelis. His musicianship is characterized by inner expression, spontaneity, the search for unconventional sounds, the ability to blend into the ensemble's sound system and creative thinking. He is currently actively playing music in the free improvisation collectives "Illucid", "DJ Extended feat. Kazimieras Jušinskas" and "Katarsis4", in the punk-jazz group "Dziazlaif".
Teatro P's mission is to present poetry in such a way that even those who don't read it will like it, so we welcome not only poetry lovers, but also non-poetry lovers at the show!
