Animals and lives - Teatro P concert, poetic performance for children.
Actors Balys Ivanauskas and Artūras Dubaka, using the poems of Lithuanian writers Sigitas Geda, Anzelmos Matutis, Marius Marcinkevičius, Alma Karosaitė, Justin Marcinkevičius and their own stories from childhood, created a concert - a performance in which, by telling past and present stories, one plunges into the world of dreams. Here, as they go about their days, hares, cows, kings experience adventures and (unexpectedly) tricky problems that need to be solved here and now. And will it work?

"The poetic-musical performance of actors Balis Ivanauskas and Dubakas for children "Evening G - animals and lives", as usual for "Teatra P" founded by them, surprises with its ability to interest modern children in poetry. The stories and fun stories of animals and lives are created from the poems of Geda, Anzelmas Matutis, Marius Marcinkevičius, Alma Karosaitė, Justin Marcinkevičius and their own childhood stories. For example, from a dream about an aunt and the devil, which was prophetic, or from a dream about a white horse running for hours, which ran, ran, ran, and if anyone still didn't understand well - that horse just ran, all the time, just ran, and it was so very interesting! The life and enthusiasm these two actors have for poetry, fresh cabbage and cauliflower, or connecting with children is engaging and enviable. But the most important thing is that they never lose their relationship with the word, the word is the most interesting for them. I would try to guess that these actors believe in the mystical creative power of the word - you said the word and the world was created. "Evening G - Animals and Lives" really creates on stage what quietly, modestly and secretly lives in poems: all those horses that sprouted in the nursery, all those fire-making fish and silent cows."

* Balys Ivanauskas - actor, director, actively working in several Lithuanian theaters (Stalo Theater, Juoz Miltinis Drama Theater, Kaunas City Chamber Theater, etc.), several performances have been nominated for Golden Stage Crosses. The creator is also engaged in pedagogical activities - he conducts theater classes for children. Founder of Theater P.
* Artūras Dubaka - actor, composer, songwriter and performer, who won several awards for his work. In addition to working in the theater, he is also a member of the Clown Doctors organization. Founder of Theater P.
The mission of "Teatro P" is to present poetry in such a way that even those who don't read it will like it, so we welcome not only poetry lovers, but also non-poetry lovers at the show!
